Revision ideas

Below are some ideas and tasks created to help students revise.

The following represents how I have attempted to get students to delve deeper into a select question in order to gain a greater understanding of the mechanics behind the question. The template below shows some structure I have added to this process in order to offer some support for the students. I usually pick questions where questions have been poorly understood by the majority of students.

1. Students work through the original question that came up on an assessment.
2. Students consider multiple methods to solve the intended original question.
3. Students make alterations to the question and observe what happens to the solution.
4. Students attempt to make alterations to the question which would lead to a solution that does not make sense. For example, altering the trajectory of the particle such that it is a positive quadratic.
